The Romantics? How cool is that?

I totally forgot about how cool they were. Didn't even know they were still around. To see them with The Fixx would be a great show. Move it northward a bit and I'm there http://www.thefixx.net/ubb/smile.gif

He he, there is probably some Romantics fan saying "The Fixx? How cool is that? I didn't know they were still around".

cheers
Steve
p.s. no pun intended on the 'still around' thing.

I hate it when thr FIXX gets roped into these package gigs with a bunch of LIGHTWEIGHT 80's bands. I think it does harm to their musical/intellectual credability. The outfield,romantics,motels...who's next tony basil? and Oh Mickey make me sickey? But then again they should be the BEST show on the bill....
Ill be quiet now...

No, no Diamond, I tend to wonder that myself but of course The Fixx are the headline. I try to look at it more as the boys are getting there music out there and a lot of people will be listening. Not to mention out of all the groups, there probably the only ones with "new" songs to play.

Steve, how true is that? I'll never forget at the RI show that one of the opening bands (Girl band named "Katrin") saying "Is everyone getting exited about The Fixx?!?!? Where the heck have they been?!?!" I was like, wow, how many people must say that. Ignorance is bliss I guess http://www.thefixx.net/ubb/smile.gif

Yes I am guilty of it too. http://www.thefixx.net/ubb/frown.gif

I'm really hoping that they come back to RI or somewhere in the Northeast! This time I will not miss them. I've been listening to some old stuff & realizing how much I miss them live! The last time was they were trying out material for "Elemental" in Boston. I'm so glad I found this website! I thought I was the only Fixx fan around.

Great to have a new Fixxture on the list. I am still waiting for the band to come to anywhere in central Florida. I will drive as far as needed to see them if they just get that far south http://www.thefixx.net/ubb/smile.gif I know they were here 2/01 but it seems like that was years ago now!
