We've been distributing Fixx cards in Orange County, CA (blue and white on the front) and now we're curious whether they will draw anyone to the board, so as a marketing strategy it would be great of you if you got one, to tell us how and where you found it. If you are new to the board we're glad we "found" you! Stick around.

Cygnet,

What a great idea! That was fun handing those out. A very good example of guerilla viral marketing! I can't wait to see the response!

What's with those other "venues" in the poll? :)

Good seeing you and Rob'n'Rob at the shows!!

Cygnet made up about 1500 cards to hand out to draw fans to the websites.

They say "THE FIXX" and "www.thefixx.com" on the front, and

THE FIXX
Summer Tour 2005
Dates available at www.thefixx.com

Also, join us on the forum at www.thefixx.net

on the back. Very nice..

Children's Orchard is a nice used clothing store I've been shopping at for 15 years... I figured, "How many moms are still in love with The Fixx?"

As for Smart & Final, a non-club store where you can buy foods in bulk, I was just feeling ditsy and thought I'd see what would happen. As for the other places, obviously I'm at the beach a lot with the kids, so I thought I'd try leaving some at the little machines where you pay for parking- just to see ...At Treasure Island which used to be our personal private beach practically, they've built a beautiful resort now so I stuck some cards in the lovely masonry next to the parking pay machine. It's all a small marketing experiment. Pretty fun! If we find one person who belongs here, it'll be worth it, right?

GOING FOR THE ONE

Oh, so I thought those were just jokes - you really did leave cards there - very clever! Remember when S&F used to be called Smart & Final Iris Company? Great stores!

Day 2 and not too many votes... this survey could save me a lot of money next time (too bad I already ordered 1000 more for Santa Cruz...)

THANKS
for the business cards
They look great, can we do stuff like this
on our own, or do we need
permission from someone or
somewhere?
