Oh, lots of people still check in regularly :). Things definitely picked up for a few months when Beautiful Friction came out.
A lot of discussion has now moved to facebook and twitter - times...
I definitely lean on the side of preferring to hear lots of the new music. I've seen Rush about a zillion times and I really, truly, don't need to hear Tom Sawyer, Spirit of the Radio, Working Man,...
Can you PM me with what they are?
thanks
Yeah, I like the physical format as well. But for my favorite artists - the important thing is the music, that they can keep putting it out, and if only releasing on CDBaby, Bandcamp, or iTunes makes...
Yeah, I'd hate to be called a "groupie" - at minimum it reeks of just wanting to hang around a band because of their fame. At worst it's as Cary describes.
How about... "Live Connoisseur" instead?...
I'm not saying they absolutely can't break through. Nothing's impossible. I just think it highly doubtful. I know that sounds fatalistic, and I would LOVE to be proven wrong :).
I can't really...
Ohh... excellent! Are there other goodies still available? Such as any shows on FixxStixx?
Speaking of the upcoming vinyl release (which I have pre-ordered :)) - do you know if it's the exact same mastering as the CD, or was it mastered specifically for vinyl? Also, are the masters...
Vinyl is around 22 minutes per side if you want good quality. If you go above that, you have to severely limit the dynamic range and eq out the low bass, or the grooves will literally run into each...
I don't see any current copies, but EIL lets you request the next available copy:

There's an old, but awesome, concert from the Phantoms tour, but it's only available on VHS:

There's also the Stage Two: In The Public Eye DVD, but I think...
I'm also a big fan of Roger's. If you haven't seen it already, this DVD is well worth it.
I did. You ignored it.
(Note: I'm not part of Fixx management, I just run the forum and host theFixx.com, so my opinion is just that of a random fan ;-))
While I appreciate where you're headed with your analysis, I'm...
Oh, that was fantastic... thanks for sharing!
"I'm not interested in facts, they just cloud my judgement". <-- quote of the day :)
Hi Pup,
I had the same quotes above in a previous post. cjelephant dismissed it since I didn't provide direct links to where the quotes came from, and then told me to, I quote him: "Go to the...
Well that was rude. You've just convinced me that your not worth my time. G'day.
So I didn't actually take anything away - what I did was add new tabs, one per sub-forum. And unfortunatly new tabs don't come with all those links below, nor do they have a way to copy them all at...
Muse, I love it. And you are wise beyond your years. And much more tactful than I. ;-)
Full Stop.
Please answer these questions, otherwise I'm not interested in spending more time on this with you.
I will say it again: You can have your opinion. I can have my opinion. No problems there. It doesn't mean I can't disagree with someone's opinion though.
So tell me, why are you so hung up on this...
The vast majority of the people in recorded history believed slavery was a-ok too. Doesn't make it right. I'd not use the past majority's opinion as your yardstick.
Please re-read what I wrote...
Actually, I'll assert that both your meme pics are false:
We should hold all our presidents to high standards. And... imagine this... I can *at the same time* not want to give money to a business...
Ok - I may have found it, buried in the vbulletin preferences theres an option to NOT have a post pop to the top just because someone voted. If someone comes along and votes years later, the vote...
