    So ettenaj,

I noticed that you couldn't get to sleep last night???

My photos didn't come out too good, so I am banking on Stuart, once he has returned from his visit to 'the big smoke'

Oh and Spin It, the guys were smokin'

    Thank You guys.....

Once again The Fixx have reaffirmed my faith in the human condition....

Swansea gig was truly excellent. Great sound, nice set list....every gig just seems to advance...soooo tight.....Jamie is unreal - the Steve Jansen of the guitar world!

When so many 'musicians' fail to appreciate the necessity of songs - as opposed to a sound - it's great to know a band like The Fixx has stayed true to its identity - superb arrangements, a punchy tight focussed sound, inspiring lyrics and - hell, if you can sing like that on the first song......in this fashion-led UK music scene, I haven't felt so positive in years.

    Appreciated.

Couldn't be there because of time constraints... so it's great to see the guys were doing so well!

    Thanks!

Well there's hopes Dave, the audio of the Swansea show was recorded, however the tape broke 5 songs in, what they had however, sounded awesome, the Borderline was also recorded and may at some point find a release, in which format though, is anyone's guess, would be amazing to have a live CD out of these two shows.

Cant fully describe how much I enjoyed seeing the band at The Borderline! Expectations was high and they fulfilled them by far, it really is amazing that Cy can sing so great after all this years (and cigarettes) and Jamie still is the best guitarist there is!

Pretty convinced that me and my brother was the once travelling the longest for this gig, but boy was it worth every single penny!

Hope to see you soon again, then maybe well get Bulit For The Future

    Wink

I was the guy in the A.C.T t-shirt alright, but Im not in that band, but I do work at the label they are on and am a big fan.

Me and my brother had a great time at The Borderline and we both agreed on that we just witnessed something special... Sunsine In The Shade sure was the absolute highlight...

    Hi Phantom,

I'm glad you and your brother enjoyed the show, hopefully you enjoyed the British hospitality too!!

I am going to see the A.C.T guys in Rotherham in October, having saw them in London and Copenhagen with Saga. They're a great bunch of guys, with a great attitude. There has always been alot of talk about the guys on the Saga message board, and Graham (the band's manager) was really impressed that a Swedish A.C.T fan had travelled to London to see The Fixx.
Graham is an old friend of mine, and a regular on the Saga forum.

I hope we all get to see The Fixx, again, soon!!
