    Touch DVD

Went to swansea last night, they were very good, though i felt they were a bit safe with the material. Though everybody seemed to enjoy the set. Standout for me was Fatal Shore. Did anybody else buy the Touch DVD because my copy will not play in my DVD player or my new applemacs DVD player.

    Mine plays fine as well.
These look to be not a factory product, probaly DVD+R or DVD-R and your copy may not be finalized. Just a thought, but the likely cause. Anyone else with any problems. Post here and maybe the band will pick up on it and sort out an exchange.

My DVD does not play on my DVD player. I reckon this is aimed as a solely PC-playable disc, especially as there is a 'Powerpoint'-style photo slideshow.

I understand that the DVD to be sold at the Borderline, is going to be slightly different, with different audio tracks

Strange, mine plays fine. I've played on all 3 we have in the house, a Technika, Philips 980 recorder / player and a Dansai 852, all play it without any problem. Just a thought, but do you by some chance have the CD Rom version? Front of my box says Special Edition DVD / CD Rom. If you want, will send yours on to me, I'll try it on my players and will return it Thursday, see if there's a problem with the disc maybe? Let me know, post it tomorrow and it'll get here in plenty of time.

In regards to the last post...I've found that my 1011 Woodlands audio DVD doesn't sound as good with simulated surround sound turned on. It's really meant to be played with real digital surround sound. The CD version actually sounds better in my DVD player.

Just a stab. Maybe it will help.
