What im going to try to start doing is doing a little newsletter every month here on the board so that people know how we are doing wiht the actual "Promoting" also just some info on the band and what not.... How about drive-by messages to friends on your messenger lists asking them to check them out? I do mass mailings all the time when I don't have time to chat. Very effective
