    Fixx Music On The Air

I heard Fixx music in two different places the last two days:

    1) On my way to work Friday morning, the news station I listen to (AM) used the intro from "One Thing Leads To Another" as a lead-in to the next segment.

    2) I saw John Waite in concert last night at a cool new club in Long Beach, CA. Heard the entire song there over the P.A. right before John's show.

    Weird...

Smile Re: Fixx on the radio

When my clock radio went off this morning, I woke up to "Saved by Zero." Casey Kasem's top 20 was on this morning and he said that 21 years ago today, "Saved by Zero" was climbing the charts. What a way to wake up!!!!

    Wow, Casey Kasum?
Now that's refreshing to hear that the young crowd just got some exposure to The Fixx

    Cool!

    Smile This is weird

    Hello Buffalo Gal and Kitttie,

"Casey Kasem's top 20 was on this morning and he said that 21 years ago today, "Saved by Zero" was climbing the charts."

This is very weird. I was listening to the Countdown today on the way into work and he played a song by Lisa Loeb and I was thinking how cool it would be to hear The Fixx. Did he play it before or after the Lisa Loeb song?

    Hey Kittie -

Did you see John Waite at The Vault?? I've been reading about that place - think I'm going to have to check it out soon - especially if they're playing The Fixx - yea John!

Smile Has Anyone Heard The Fixx on Muzak

    Hello All,

As long as the Fixx don't make it to Muzak (the elevator music company), everything is good.

Once I heard, Morrisey's "Everyday is Like Sunday" in a Mexican Market. That was interesting. I wonder if the Fixx have been done in any other language?

right on .. I once heard ' I was made for lovin' you "by Kiss in the grocery store and just about dropped ... mostly from embarrassment....that i actually remembered when it was being played on the airwaves...HA!! no sense dating ourselves..right? But I too would be singing loud and proud if I heard the FIXX in the produce section ....

    Stange Muzak

I once heard Bob Marley in the grogery store - elevator style. It took me back for a second - but, once I got over the shock - I proudly sang along while shopping. Grocery shopping would be much more exciting if you got to sing to the Fixx - don't ya think?

Sorry it took me so long to reply Fixxation but Saved by Zero was the third song into the countdown so it was before the Lisa Loeb song.

Thumbs up They're Playing Them Everywhere!!

Walking through the mall yesterday, my ears were delighted with "Saved By Zero". What a nice way to shop . . . . .

Funny, I also heard "Saved By Zero" on the radio a couple weeks back at a dingy bar I reluctantly found myself in with a buddy of mine. The song nicely offset the "dead dive" atmosphere I incurred. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that great Fixx song on the presently suffering airwaves after so many years.

I hear them a lot whenever I go out shopping- can you imagine being in a girlie store like Vickie's Secret an hearing "The Sign of Fire"??? And our mall here seems to love them. . .
