Is Adam, Rupert and Jamie on the CD?
You know Steve, I do not see any mention of Rupert, Adam, Gary or Jamie on Cy's solo album (unless I've missed it somewhere?)
It doesn't look like they were involved at all.
jamie said he played on it- he just politely couldnt remember which songs??? while modestly chuckling-![]()
i know the "faith" one isa definite... its pretty damn obvious its JWO!
and i ll have to go listen again to recall the other(s)....
It sounded like Jamie to me on the first couple listens. I would have bet money on it. However, there is no mention of Jamie in the liner notes to Mayfly.Originally posted by Diamond05

Both "Everyone Believes In Something" & "Remember Me When I'm Gone" are on the DiscLive CDs from Texas....Ed is listed as Art Direction & Design on Cy's CD.
"I knew a transsexual guy whose only ambition was to eat, drink, and be Mary." ~ George Carlin.
"mad is hell and i aint gonna take it no more"
Charlie Daniels also used that phrase in the song/title track "Simple Man"
and he took a lot of sh*t for writing a too-true look at child abuse,drugpushers...
It was way to controversial for most commercial radios to play and he got swept under the carpet for it- but i applaud his courage.
I know you re thinkin... redneck CDaniels? go listen to his old early PRE devil-Georgia stuff... its like hippie-rock- Jazz -before the Allmanns!
And did ya know he used to be a studio musician and played many famous sessions- Bob Dylan nashville skyline for example....

i have a thumb pick from CD when i was 13, and he reached over some other people to make sure i got it....
Im partial to Nightrider and Saddle Tramp
STramp- now theres a jam band song if there ever was one!
I still wanna know what happened to guitarist TOMMY CRAIN.... he just vanished in the early 80s....

If you are looking for all songs they have written in whatever guise do the songs by the Portraits count? For example their first single 'Little Women' which I still have on red vinyl. Attached is a MP3 file. Don't think there were so many Portraits songs but maybe they turned into Fix and Fixx songs!!![]()
Diamond - I have to confess I have seen Charlie Daniels live (Twice). That man kicks *ss! Good song Pippi!![]()
