Hey Stuart, what's the name of the pub, you're proposing? I'm trying to arrange a pre-gig meet up for the Saga show, up the road at the Mean Fiddler, on 31st October

Well you and Wilkie are such lovely people! Thank you, I do get a bit nervous when I am on my own late at night. I would definitely consider the room sharing idea, if you think we'd be better off in doing that.

Pub is called the Royal George, it's in the street behind the Borderline, Goslett Yard (thanks Alannah) stage doors are just to the side. We had a few there last year, steeply priced beer, but it's cold and crisp with fresh dew running down the side mmmmmm.....

stage doors to the Borderline are to the left.

ettanej, for last year's gig at the Borderline I paid online. No ticket was sent to me but I had confirmation of the booking number so I was on their list when I checked at the door. I've been keeping an eye on their web page, nothing so far. Might e-mail them on Monday!

Cheers Wilkie, it will be great to put faces to all the names! Stuart I've seen in a photo and recognise from the Borderline last year, plus we've had a few chats in e-mail. For you other guys I will have to check some pics to refresh my memory. I don't know how I can have missed the T&A that was mentioned earlier ;-)

Smarthound everyboby does things differently the advantage of the way I did it was that I had a nice big white ticket that I managed to get signed the perfect memory of the gig.

    Confused in London

Hi guys, just to update you that the London Astoria ticket office are a bit confused, they still have no news on ticket sales and they went to check for me and said concert is on the 18th November?

By the way, if you call the London Astoria number 0207 434 9592 or the Borderline ticket office 0207 534 6970, you get the same people, guess things are working differently this time.

Worst of all is the fact the bloke on the phone has said the you cannot purchase ticket over the phone?

    I'm completely confused now!

This ticketing system is a little strange to say the least.
Have just phoned the Astoria (again - now the 8th time) and the latest news at 5pm today is that tickets will be on sale later today and will be available online - don't hold them to that.
Thing is - box office shuts at 6pm -arrrrggghhh

(bangs head against computer table in frustration)

Okay time for some Confusius observation to keep everyone smiling and calm.
Further observations and the like can be added if you like.

    Confusius he say:
Clean house is sign of broken computer.

Arghhhh! I know how you feel Stuart, I called them again around 16:45 and the girl said that the tickets had not gone on sale yet, so never mind, she didn't even say that they would be on sale at 5pm, guess we have to just keep trying!

To make matters worse I've caught a bad cold and feel like complete misery

I called the Borderline/London Astoria phone line around 16:45 today and was told by the bloke who answered to try calling again towards the end of the week and that tickets may be on sale by then or at the latest by next week. At least they finally knew what on earth I was talking about!
