The Reverse Engineers (band influenced by the Fixx)

    Greetings fellow Fixx Fans,

I have been a longtime fixx fan and just want to give a shout out to everyone. I'm a drummer in a band called The Reverse Engineers. The band has been heavily influenced by the Fixx. I've seen the guys at least 8 or 9 times and was lucky enough to see them at the Largo Cultural Center gig a few months back, that was one of the best shows I had seen in years.

I invite everyone on the forum to stop by my bands website, www.thereverseengineers.com and check us out. We just released a new cd titled "Max-Q". Stop by and listen to some clips and we always enjoy feedback about the songs. We'd like to get some feedback from some fans that really know what good music is.

    Long live the Fixx!

Yeah, I checked it out too. I meant to post feedback but got sidetracked on that particular day. (sorry)

    Decent stuff.
    Keep up the good work.

Not only is it decent but it is pretty ROCKIN'

A bit of Rush influence in the first tune (not surprising for a rocking three piece band)

Sunshine With The Shade sounds cool (nice Fixx influence)

Tell Me Why has Beatles/Turtles hints

    Weatherman has a favorable progression

Sounds of Silence is an improvement over the original

Tha Same Path is a gentle acoustic piece

    Max-Q has more Rush influence.

Sounds like I need to pick me up a copy.

OK, just got back from picking me up a copy of the CD.

Guys, Don't miss this special deal. For $25 you get Both of the Reverse Engineers CDS, a T-Shirt printed on both sides + sleeve, AND an autographed Poster (don't know where I'll hang that, but I'm in it for the tunes and the shirt).

I have received requests for full length previews of songs from our new album Max Q, so I went ahead and posted full length LoFi previews of the songs Mercury in Retrograde and Sunshine with the Shade.
