Thanks for participating all. I have a feeling I could come up with a Top 50 before my deadline, but if I get 100, I'll do Top 100!

Yes. Hey most surveyors only ask for three songs.

Anyway, another question. Do you guys want we to keep updating you to who is winning, or should I surprise you with the final tally?

I thought it might be simpler to just list my single fave track off each album:

    Stand or Fall
    Outside
    Facing The Wind
    Camphor
    Don't Be Scared
    Shred of Evidence
    How Much Is Enough
    We Once Held Hands
You Don't Have To Prove Yourself

    as far as non-album tracks:

    Time In A Glass
    A Letter to Both Sides

Thumbs up Top 15 and comments

Here's my top 15, with a few comments:

    1. Driven Out- great summation of society, complete with a directive for life at its ending (and it flat out rocks!!) It's brilliant and clearly my all time fave!

    2. Red Skies- like a fine red wine, it was great at first taste, and it gets better with time.

    3. Happy Landings- lets see... a hammock + a cold brew + a warm, sunny day + this song turned up = total bliss

    4. Stand or Fall- Cover bands continue to attempt emulating this one; at least half of them get the first two chords right

    5. You Don't Have to Prove Yourself- This should be on all adult contemporary stations as I write this; it's catchy and has a smooth groove. Too bad they don't play it on the tour!

    6. One Thing Leads to Another- Gotta admit, got sick of it after 4,000 plays... it put them into the big time and kept them there too.

    7. All is Fair- Man IS a beast, and Cy can definitely play that harmonica anytime he wants.

    8. Our We Ourselves?- I have asked myself this question (really), yet Cy can ask it in a song that kicks ass; it's short but sweet for sure!

    9. Secret Separation- Still love it after all these years ("I'll bear one precious scar...")

    10. Built for the Future- Wish they would play this one on the tour; I've seen them four times in the past 15 years, yet haven't heard it live

    11. Saved By Zero- Really made "Reach the Beach" reach for platinum.

    12. Less Cities- OK, shouldn't it be "fewer cities?" Oh well, does grammar really matter? Seriously, I do think of the Kurds and poor subclultures like them when I hear this.

    13. No One Has to Cry- "The poor turn my wheels" really gets to me, honestly. Tremendous lyrics and insightful indeed.

    14. How Much Is Enough?- Another song with a great message... and the video is pretty good too. Glad they still play this on the road.

    15. The Flow- Remember auto reverse cassette players? Fade back to Calm Animals... Play Driven Out, hit auto reverse, rewind, play The Flow, hit auto reverse, and repeat...

    Runners Up (16-25)...

    16. Fatal Shore
    17. Two Different Views
    18. Crucified
    19. All the Best Things
    20. Cameras in Paris
    21. Don't Be Scared
    22. Touch
    23. Are You Satisfied? (it's really growing on me)
    24. We Once Held Hands
    25. Sign of Fire

Since you didn't list them in order of preference, I'll count these as your Top 11 songs and they get 20 points each.

Hmmm. We may get a Top 100 yet. We have 93 voted for so far, with 11 songs from the main studio albums that haven't been voted for yet (Some People, Shuttered Room, One Look Up, Read Between the Lines, Sense the Adventure, One Jungle, Life's What's Killing Me, Is That It?, You Know Me, Straight 'Round the Bend, and Taking the Long Way Home).

I promised to keep you In Suspense, but here's a little snippet. In 27th place so far is Ocean Blue from Elemental. In 42nd place is Opinions (Reach the Beach). In 73rd place so far is Changing (Reach the Beach). And would you believe One Thing Leads to Another is in 10th place...so far? Hehe, that's all we can tell you. Th-th-that's all folks.
