The LA gig is first so Heimo may want to fly in to LA.
Ed can pick him up and then turn him over to me in Malibu. Then I can take him up to SF with me.

Or if Heimo is going to do it alone he MUST drive. That way he can stop in Santa Maria to see Clive and myself and perhaps pound a couple beers.

Great idea, Steve! And if folks are checking into flying, try flying Southwest (www.iflyswa.com) into Burbank (BUR) instead of going into LAX. It's about the same distance from Malibu as LAX, but the flights are usually cheaper.

Santa Maria the town is famous for its own style of BBQ...Wingo's not bad with a grill himself, as we witnessed at our Fixxnic in September!

Aw, shucks - thanks so much, bash! That's sweet! And that Fixxnic was so much fun!

Read more about Santa Maria BBQ: http://www.santamaria.com/section_visitor/barbecue.html

Maybe we should try to go here for dinner (sadly, no lunch is served): http://www.hitchingpostwines.com

I'm sure Steve knows of some awesome places to enjoy this style of BBQ!

    Awesome!

Wow, and not to take anything away from our boys here, but I also notice that on 23feb05 is New Monsoon. These boys are from here (Marin, CA), and if you like jam band music (a la Phish, SCI, Allmans), you should definitely see these guys. Was just over a year ago that they quit their day jobs and "went for it", and they're doing great. Good guys, too, very humble, genuine, and they all give back to the community. So check 'em out.

And the next night is Fee-fi-fo Waybill and The "White Punks on Dope" Tubes!!

OMG, 08mar05 - Leon Russell and 09mar05 - Stan "Mexican Radio" Ridgway! And 29mar05 - the Red Elvises - Russian Surf Music!

Dang. May have to move to Azirona

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled FIXX!
