Waht's the best advice you have ever recieved????

I was thinking about this today... after reviewing some advice that someone we all know and love gave to me.. as I was going through a hard time, recently.....

So I thought why not share the wisdom, between us??

I have several that come to mind...

    1) Listen to the voice inside you.. your heart should be the one who guides you...
    2) Make your dreams your reality and your realities your dreams...
    3) Look at what is behind the behavior before judging the person/child... (that one, as humans, always seems to be the hardest to remember)
    4) ALWAYS kiss someone hello and goodbye....kisses hello tell someone how much they have been missed .....and kisses goodbye tell them how much they WILL be missed ....
    5) What the heart understands today... the head will understand tomorrow....(or vise versa)

AND... 6) Life is a big word....Love is even bigger... (thanks, buddy .. for reminding me to reach for " the higher ground"

Hungarian Wisdom From My Mom -

While it is true that we have our family & friends. Underneath it all, all we truly have is ourself. Therefore, if we cannot BE ourself - than we have nothing at all. So, no matter WHO you are - be yourself - or you'll never truly be happy.

(advice given to me as a young teen. it helped me tremendously through those troubled years!)

best things I've heard are nice pieces of reality:

*the most important lessons to learn are the ones that hurt the most
*you can't possibly be everyone's cup of tea
*if you find you AREN'T someone's cup of tea, repsect that and give them space
*people will tell YOU one thing, and tell the NEXT person something else...always find out/think for yourself
*the sun doesn't always shine, but the rain often brings a clearer view
*while following your dreams, keep your expectations firmly on the ground

    Invest in plastics.

    Just kidding.

I can't beat Jeanne's but here it goes.

Some time ago a young woman explained to me how women feel about love as opposed to men. And how they want to be treated by men. That really changed my way of thinking.

I got this email yesterday about the Seven Wonders Of The World. It included a child's list of the Seven. Very wise words indeed. Here is her list.

    'Seven Wonders of the World'

    are:

    1. To See

    2. To Hear

    3. To Touch

    4. To Taste

    5. To Feel

    6. To Laugh

    7. And to Love

*sometimes the littlest people are the wisest
