    Current Fixx spin: Shuttered Room

at work & in the car.

Hard to pick just one. My favorites:

    The Fool (duh)
    Stand or Fall
Lost Planes & The Strain are driven and ROCK
Some People (love it! very Talking Heads- that would be a GREAT double-header tour- can you imagine? Please don't tell me that's happened and I missed it)
    and of course Red Skies

I don't know what I just said or why.

From my heart & from my hand
why don't people understand my intention

    Thumbs up Stand or Fall

Yep, that one INSTANTLY made me a Fixx fan, both the video and the song!

LOL, they got me..."with just one look"... isn't that a lyric from a movie soundtrack they were on?

    Cheers,

    Kim

Yup, Better Off Dead. With One Look is a Rupert Hine song that Cy and Jamie sang backup/played on. Great song!
Maybe on course to the best yet!

    Question Time in a Glass

I thought I was Mr. VIP because I have Shuttered Room [Bonus Tracks], but nay, no Time in a Glass. Does anyone have a link to that song? Not sure I've heard.

all I can help you with is it's on the Repertoire Records cd version
of Shuttered Room-REP-4598-WY 1996 (additional tracks Time In A
Glass 3:27, The Strain 3:33, Stand Or Fall (extended mix) 4:52.

I know it's just info, I don't even know how hard it would be to find.
Don't even remember where I got it from. I have 4 different versions
of the cd, this one,MCA,Rainman, and the Fuel Records label. I buy
anything and everything I find on cd and I'm still missing stuff.

You wouldn't happen to know where I could find Ink on Japanese
    import cd?

Good info, thanks. I didn't know it ever made it to CD. It's on the original UK vinyl album that I wore out my copy of back in '82. I imagine it will reappear when Steve Pariseau's downloads are resurrected as has been suggested in the other thread.

    Cool my vote

the first time I was exposed to the Fixx was the Stand Or Fall video, I
was hooked. I remember it well I was living in a small town in the
Northern Rockies(Craig Colorado)walked into a appliance store and it
was playing on a tv,they had cable hooked up,fortunately for me. But
I have to say SOF isn't my fave from the album I love "I Live".

your welcolme, it's not much help if can't find it though. I know digital downloads are the thing(technology) but personally I've gotta have the physical cd, love to collect the art, liner notes, etc. and occasionally have signed when you have the chance. I personally was able to have Cy sign my Phantoms,Want That Life, and Stage One(whole band signed) cds. And had Jamie sign a ticket one time. And I've got setlist off one of their amps also (Want That Life Tour). These are the best things about seeing them in small venues. It's more personal. I almost got to go on their tour bus when I was able to get Cy to sign Phantoms. But I've only seen them 3 times. Was going to go see Cy perform solo at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando back in May, had my ticket, but was unable to go. I hope they come back to Florida this tour.

The Fool (addicted from the first time I heard it and loved having it on the set list for the past few shows!)

    Quiet Room

Mine was The Fool also... Stand or Fall and Red Skies were on the radio but when I got the TAPE (ha, remember tapes?), it was btwn Cameras in Paris and The Fool for me. The Fool just brought up all kinds of interesting images...
