Vote - Your favourite Missing Links song (round 1)

So what is your favourite Missing Links song?

Please note - Sinking Island, Stand or Fall, & Red Skies are not on this poll due to their much earlier appearnace on Shuttered Room. Although the mixes are slightly different, they are essentially the same songs as before.

Also, the European cassette release of Missing Links contained All About You and is therefore listed.

Two Different Views and Going Without will be listed in the Happy Landings Poll

"Do What You Can" closely followed by "Crystal Ice Dub".

Do What You Can - the liner notes on this one says it all.
I've Been Here Before - close second. This song could be on any Fixx album & fit right in.

About 1998 or so I asked Rupert why All About You wasn't included on Ink. He said because it wasn't that great a song. I realize there's only 30 somthing votes so far but All About You has a firm grip on this poll despite only being available for purchase on a Europen cassette release of Missing Links.

That should speak volumes regarding die-hard fan impressions of the tune.

I voted for it too although it was a very close race against Pushing Myself. Pushing Myself has that awesome Jamie guitar work that is kind of sassy in a way. But All About You has some of the best vocoder work from Rupert that touches me and such a pretty acoustic interlude from either Jamie or Cy (not sure who played it). Jamie's wang bar is alive and well in All About You as well.

All about you is definetly a lovely song with a great guitar and a good melody. It what have deserved to be put on a regular album. A Fixx cd most of the time lasts something about 42 minutes and continous 10 songs. There is so much time left on a cd. Would be nice to have a 11th song on an album - no doubt (IMO) that "All about you" is a quality song...

I agree, there are times I wish I could have a 20 minute Crystal Ice Dub. It is mesmerizing.
