    Milwaukee 4:00 Review (1st of 2 shows)

What a Fixxin' awesome show! As Cy said during the show, 'Brilliant!' The Fixx played at the Milwaukee Harley Rally at 4:00 and will play again at 9:15 tonight. I met up with Jeanne Thelen and Dejapete. We enjoyed the show front and center, although to be polite, we sat down most of the show, even though it nearly killed me to do so! It was nice to meet Kim and Mark after the show (they were helping out by selling merchandise).

The sound was great, and a lot of the bikers seemed to enjoy the show (how could anyone not?!). No encore, but there were 14 songs. I'll post the second show later tonight.

    Touch
    Driven Out
    How Much Is Enough
    Are You Satisfied
    Secret Separation
    Fatal Shore
    Life Goes On
    Everyone Believes In Something
    Remember Me When I'm Gone
    Stand Or Fall
    The Fool
    One Thing Leads To Another

i really enjoyed the new songs, very good!! the set was too short, but the sound was perfect. i was standing in the back, we just drve 100 miles,so i wasn't sitting. thanks to the Milwaukee Rally for having the Fixx, everyone was very cool, a nice party, cold beer. we couldn't stay for the 2nd set, **** me off!
has anyone recorded any of the Fixx shows?? do they allow tapers??any soundboard tapes floating about??

As Cy said during the show, 'Brilliant!'
And then he said something about Guiness, as in the TV commercial.

It took a while for the audience and Cy to get warmed up. It was daytime, and it was a small audience. But it was a good set.

We caught up with Rupert before the show. He was thrilled to see so many Harley-Davidson motorcycles in one place. There were hundreds and hundreds of them in the parking lot.

He wanted to get a picture of them, but he had lost his lens adapter. Here he is trying to figure out how to hold the lens in front of the camera so he can get an image.

gee bee - I was one "chick" that stood up near the end. I generally like to keep a low profile but I couldn't stand sitting anymore. Fortunately, someone else stood up first. I didn't catch her name. I'm surprised our bench didn't crack it was bouncing so much from everyone tapping their feet

It's on Saturday, the 3rd. Do come. It's Labor Day weekend. You'll have an extra day to travel...Jeanne and I are coming down. Hopefully others that were at the Milwaukee show as well.

I was the other "chick" to the right of the stage. I was the first to get up because I just couldn't sit any longer while listening to such good music. I kept trying to get the front row fixxtures to get up with me but they wouldn't budge. Thank you Denise for joining me.
