    Smile Purchased Seattle Show

    Hello All,

I just bought my 3rd show. Given all your recommendations, I bought the Seattle Show August 12.

    Lighthouse

    Hi,

I finally received my copy of the Dallas concert (it takes around 4-5 weeks). As most of you already know... it's great! But that isn't the real reason that I'm posting this message.

I think the Fixx need to dust off the song, Lighthouse. This is an awesome live song. I remember that there was some comments made that the boys weren't happy with how this song was turning out in the studio. This would be a perfect way to get this song out to the fans. I'm sure most of us would purchase new concert CDs as soon as they became available if this song was included.

    Later,

    Maybe someday

Sure would have been cool if there was a WI show. The others sound really good.

Re: New LIVE Fixx CDs available NOW!!

    1) In your posting of the Dallas disk in the first post, you list "How Quickly the Days Go By" but isn't that a lyric from "Everyone Believes in Something"? Maybe it wasn't officially named yet as "Everyone believes in something".

    2) Are you sure "Saved By Zero" was played twice at the Santa Cruz show? That's how it is listed up top.

    3) Up top you have no 'tracks listed below' next to the Eugene, OR in the initial disklist but you did in fact add it recently. So I guess we've got all the track info for all the disks now!

    4) From looking at the disclive sets, all tracks played are from the following pool of 19: (Santa Cruz includes them all)

    Hits:
Are We ourselves?, One Thing Leads to Another, Deeper & Deeper, Secret Separation, Driven Out, Saved by Zero, Stand or Fall, Red Skies, How Much is Enough

    Old:
The Fool, Lost Planes, Reach the Beach, Liner

    Post-Hiatus:
Fatal Shore, Touch, Are You Satisfied?

    New:
Life Goes On, Remember Me When I've Gone, Everyone Believes In Something

    5) Some songs I'd expected to see on a disclive set: Sign of Fire, Two Different Views, Outside

    6) Maybe on another thread we could compile setlists for ALL shows. I'd love to see which of the old tracks get played and how frequently. I have a feeling in other non-disclive shows they've played some not in that pool of 19.

1...I had cut and paste from someone elses list. Thanks for pointing it out. I went ahead and fixed it.

2...Yes, Saved was played twice in Santa Cruz.

3...You are correct. I went ahead and fixed that too. One thing though, there are more disclive discs available that aren't on the list. The Disclive website doesn't even show them all. I don't know which ones are missing so the list is incomplete.

    4...Yep
    5...I'd have relished that
6...311 has an awesome Tour History page with stats for each song and such. You can see samples here. I'd love to get something like that going for the Fixx but would need a lot of help.

Thanks for all the work you do Steve. With regards to someday having *every* show's setlist posted somewhere... I wonder if even The Fixx themselves have kept track over the years of their shows as to where, when and what songs they've played. Some of that info may be lost forever. 311 site does look like they've got it right.

Smile Some Information Is On These Boards

    Hello All,

I know last year I saw the Boys atleast 6 times and I posted the setlist. I know that Ed has a list off all the shows on thefixx.com. It is under the Tour section.

Why don't we open a new thread that has the shows and ask the Fixxtures to fill the setlist in?

Glaring oversight, please do forgive my failure to acknowlege Ed's exisiting Tour pages that include Setlists, Reviews, and Gallery whenever possible.

I should have mentioned that in my prior post.
