Which of these songs do you like the most?
Round 1 produced a 3 way tie for 3rd selection between Ocean Blue, We Once Held Hands and Happy Landings.
While 4/5 of these tracks also appear on Elemental, albiet in different performances, I went with Mayfly for it's inspirationl and uplifting lyrics. Love Rupert's accordion too.

I cant' stress enough how great HL is as a song...superior across the board in depth, melody, sophistication, integrity, etc......I don't understand why it doesn't get more votes...2 Diff Views is ok, so is ocean blue..their 'nice' songs but not special like HL....

Happy Landings is indeed a great tune. But I went with Mayfly. Sometimes Jamie's guitar solo wells tears up in my eye balls. Plus, I have a close friend fanatic over angels. Mayfly it is.

It's official! Happy Landings is my favorite Fixx CD ever! I've had it, and only it, in my car since the Delaware show!
I can't get enough of Ocean Blue! I keep hitting the repeat button to hear it. And, if it's playing, I'll stay in the car until it's done. I NEVER leave in the middle.
That election song seems out of place, musically and stylistically, so I usually skip it. I love the snarky cynical sentiment though. I listened to it as I was driving to vote last week.
The rest of the songs are sort of watery and introspective! Just amazing how almost the whole CD creates one mood.
I haven't been drawn to one single CD like this in a looooong time! Thanks guys!
