    Elemental - VOTE - Round 2 - Favourite Song

Which of these songs do you like the most?

Happy Landings nudged out Ocean Blue by 1 vote in Round 1 as the third selection.

For me it would be a toss up between Happy Landings and Two Different Views. Love Jamie's guitar solo on 2DV so that's what I went with.

Fatal Shore, not only for Jamie's guitar, but a shout out to our former bass player...Chris Tait. He did a great job on this song.

Fatal Shore because its the most ass kicking song they do live in their set these days. Rupert's touches are perfect and Jamie's guitar speaks for itself. Love the line ...when the water starts to rise, thenwe'll realise...

    Fatal Shore.
Question: is it true this song was done as a possible James Bond movie track? I thought I recalled hearing that...oh, that could almost start another thread--Cy as James Bond! Kim

    This is true.
At one point Fatal Shore was a hopefull to be included in the film Tomorrow Never Dies. Give me a couple days to dig it up and I'll post the Tomorrow Never Dies version of Fatal Shore.

Fatal Shore (Tomorrow Never Dies version)

Remember now. This is Fatal Shore in it's infancy. It is not quite the powerful tune you just heard live at a show near you. Listening to how a song evolves over the years has been an interest to me for many years. Perhaps you'll enjoy this peek at an early Fatal Shore as much as I.

Infancy or not, I love it, you can really HEAR the development. What is it about Cy's voice that always conveys? I still wish they'd use it for a film, any chance? anyone know?

Two Different Views for me. I was well pleased to hear the Fixx introduce acoustic guitar into their songs but didn't it take until Ink? Two Different Views is a showcase for acoustic Fixx. I Think Happy Landings is too but I went with Two Different Views.
