Like I said in round 1:

    Today it's

    Two Different Views

    but tomorrow it might be

    Ocean Blue for me.

Guess I have to stick with Two Different Views now...

I had to go with Two Different Views too. I love the way it sounds and lyrically it's similar to something my non-Fixx favorite man Neil Peart would write.

A great CD I must say, Diamond. Presto, Superconductor, The Pass, etc. Yep Im another Rush fan, lol.

I must say the 1011 Woodland version of Still Around sounds a bit like Rush. Anyone else think that?

Since this seems to be turning into a Rush thread, I just had to join in...

I didn't make the connection to Rush from Still Around though...

BTW, did you Rush fans know that a live dvd is scheduled to be released before the end of the year? Guess I know what will be on my Christmas list!!!

Just felt the opening part of the song sounds a bit like a Rush number. Climb the Hill on Ink also sounds a bit like them too, at the start of the song.

But of course I have Presto and Roll the Bones (and almost all the others...)

You know Neil's birthday was this week, right?!

And to keep this relevant, I still say Two Different Views!

I love the hard-hitting stuff, so that would suggest Fatal Shore. But I cast my vote for Happy Landings, the atmosphere in that song is one-of-a-kind. Great to listen to on the road......Gasp!!! I'm back on the board! After an absence of FIVE MONTHS!!! How did that happen? There must be something about that Elemental CD. Hmmmm......

This is a little too spooky for me, Steve. I offer a vote for Happy Landings, and then I make my own....."happy landing." Go figure. Me, I'm still scratching my head.

I just found TDV to be lyrically reminiscent of something Neil might scribble.

And heck yeah! I am eagerly awaiting the new live DVD. It was recorded in Germany right? And neil is working on another "instructional" dvd too...

did anyone else notice in the fantastic Rush in Rio dvd that Geddy uses NO amps? His bass is direct into the board, and how friggin awesome does that sound- sound..... nice!
