Saw the movie "The Blind Side". Very good movie as Sandra Bullock played a very good role. Even if you are not a football fan, still worth seeing as it is a feel good movie with the incredible real life story of Michael Oher who becomes a successful football player with the help of one loving family.

This is another vehicle for Harold Ramis to expound on the belief that one can control his own destiny and find success, even against overwhelming odds (Groundhog Day, Bedazzled). Unfortunately, it just isn't funny.

    Avatar & Sherlock Holmes

IMO, Avatar was an okay movie; Sherlock Holmes was far, far better.

Avatar had some original concepts, but overall was as expected--a giant video game, really. I was so bored during the more game-like sequences.

Not surprisingly, later that evening, saw TV commercials for the actual video game.

The casting and character chemistry in Sherlock Holmes was very good!

    Chipmunks & Daniel Craig

Took Carson to see Squeakquel or however ya spell it : ) Of course it's cute. Love the chipmunk covers of pop sensations. I say take your kids/grandkids/this kid/that kid. Too cute.

And Kim, delayed reaction to your Daniel Craig remarks of admiration (Casino Royale). Just, yes- he is something to behold.

I don't know what I just said or why.

    I saw "It's Complicated".

What a good movie; it was definitely worth the matinee $ viewing.

Don't normally go to those types of movies, but adore Steve Martin.

Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin & Jon Krakowski were most excellent, too.

Story a bit unbelievable, but the casting and the characters were great.

I saw Eraser, predictable Arnold movie but I liked it.

I also saw Paul Blart-Mall Cop. I don't know, I have mixed feelings about Kevin James. Sometimes I can't stand his comedy and sometimes I find it extremely funny. This movie was the same, a bit of both.
