Okay...sorry it took so long. Are you ready to roll? Basically, you'll print it out, make copies- just black and white are fine for handing out but if you're going to get peoples' attention by stapling them up in interesting places, bright-colored paper would be best.

Go get 'em kids!!!

But my devious mind has me already thinking.... what if...

reverse the black and white...

you always see all these telephone stapled band adverts in black with white lettering

Has anyone contacted you to say that they like that version? I can't open Cygnet's attachment for the flyer. I am so bummed! I am going to a mega mall tomorrow and wanted to bring some flyers but it is not looking to good. She has to check with Robnet but I don't know if I will already be gone since I guess we have a East Coast /West Coast time difference. Do you have any ideas? Please remember I am totally computer illiterate!!!!!

My sis may have a good hand at helping get The Fixx some well deserved attention too. Not 100 percent sure yet though but she knows someone whose husband works for some rock magazine so she is going to see if they can help spread the good word!

That is SO COOL...(as long as it's someone else's printer I'm using)- that's a lot of black ink...or can you use black paper w/ white ink...?? It's worth figuring out. Rkerchic, if you can use Dave's somehow, go for it. And if the black is too much ink, maybe Dave (sweetie pie) would be kind enough to post the white version up here as well.

Just make one good copy off your printer and then go XEROX the rest, its a lot cheaper!

IF hanging them outdoors, thicker paper weathers better

Tell her click on this link and download and then install Adobe Acrobat. It is free.

After she clicks on the link she should click "Run" and it will install Adobe Acrobat.

Once you've got Adobe Acrobat installed, you should be able to open the flyer.

Definitely! I was joking about it using up all the black ink- there's no way I'd expect anyone to use their own printer to print out these flyers!

...Just want to be sure everyone's clear on that!

Thanks Cygnet and Rob! The magic spell worked! I am off and running to spread the greatness! I had to do your version as I had no time to get black paper to do Diamond's idea. This is perfect and I have a few more music centers I remembered that I will be near tomorrow so I will bring them there too!

It was great meeting you! Your work must have paid off because lots of people showed up. Thanks for all your help! It was an awesome show, wasn't it! How were the vocals where you were sitting? We could barely hear them but we all knew the words so well it didn't matter; however, I was grateful that you guys sat further back- for your sakes...I hope you got the full effect of the greatest sounding band on Earth!
I'll see you again sometime...surely...at another Fixx concert! Keep us informed about the "little one." Oh, and you're going to be helping us promote the dvd, right? ...of course!

Hello Cygnet-
I posted a general note under Lighthouse - "East meets West". It was nice to meet you as well! Wanted to say bye but you had already vanished. The show was awesome! Perfect seats for the sound. Would have loved to been closer near Cy and Jamie but then maybe I would have had a stiff neck from looking straight up instead of ahead. I hope that all the posting and advertising did help bring those people in to B.B. Kings! I wish there was a way to take a survey to see how each of the people found out about the show. That way we could see where more street teaming needed to be. I would love to help with promoting the DVD but I would make sure though that I have official permission before I did. Next tour? Hopefully if there is a next time, we could all have more time together to enjoy each other's company!
