Is it me . or does that Suhr guitar look real close to Woody... throw some EMGs in it, and maybe we could get JWO to advertise one out on the road for the Suhr camp!
Heck maybe i ll get one next summer- they look gorgeous...

wow- we all started this thread in 2005- and this week we see that JWO now has a new woody..... built by the same gentleman that built his original two masterpieces in the 80s, Mr Suhr...
A big thanks to Jamie West-Oram of The Fixx for stopping by! Jamie's Suhr guitar is a modern recreation of his famous "Woody" guitar. His Suhr guitar is a Classic model featuring: a 1 piece figured Koa body finished in Natural Oil, Pau Ferro neck and fingerboard, and a lacquered brass pickguard.

Jamie sounded incredible at the hard rock hotel in Orlando Thursday night! I got to meet him (and Woody) before the show. Jamie took the time to say hello and answer my questions. He was kind enough to let me and the wife take some photos. He even gave me a pick from his pocket! He also let me come up on stage and check out / inspect his pedal board. He explained some features and I asked him about his current compressor sound. He's using a Suhr koji I think it's called. He allowed me to take a picture of his current setup. I'm so glad I went by the hotel early to check out the venue, and got the chance to meet one of my guitar Heros. Jamie is a true gentleman!
