Doc may not have the cure for your sinuses, Dave, but he can make you fuhgettaboudit for a while...

So, you'll give me the ride of my life, eh, Doc? Heading south sounds fun, except that I don't think Pip is speaking to me anymore. Something I said on the lightbulb thread...

    You got more mail, btw.

Did I miss something here? Why aren't I speaking to Bash? Rog - you HAVEN'T received the DVD yet? That kind of makes me nervous. Let me know when it arrives.

Got my DVD today! Can't think of a more perfect way to start the weekend!

Besides saying this is a FREAKING AWESOME DVD, the only other word that comes to mind is GENEROUS!

How generous of The Fixx to allow their fans to contribute to something as important as this DVD. By allowing us to do something for them they are really giving back to us. Thank you so much, guys!

I totally freaked out when the photo of Musegirl, Cyn_in_DC, The Queen, and me in VA Beach flashed across the screen in the montage. Thanks Ed and Andrew! It's an honor to be considered big enough fans to be included. I want to give each of you a GREAT BIG BEAR HUG when I meet you!

You couldn't sandblast the smile off my face, so don't even try!

I have to say THANKS GUYS!

Considering how many good looking women are at these shows, I am amazed they even wanted to put my mug on there.

I have yet to see the DVD, but I will real soon.
I am the winner in any event.

Well, I've finally had time to see it. Wow - tons of moving piecees all pulled together neatly. Syncing to audio must have been a major BEAR, but done extremely well. Of course, the music stands up to the scrutiny, and the musicians as well. A nice looking bunch of gents!

With a project like this, continuity is impossible, and the lack thereof is fun. Adam has at least 2 different haircuts in Are We Ourselves?, Cy is black, white, black, Jamie's in the blue twisted, then the red car, then the DeNiro, then back to the blue...all in the same part of a song. Really fun noting all that and seeing all the fans having a terrific time.

A beautiful collaboration between band and fans. BRAVO, and thanks to everyone who lent their bit to make it happen.

    Just Saw It !

    FINALLY !!

I raced back from work to see the DVD. I must say, it's a great production, even with the blurry stuff and sounds. I was so impressed that I have Dennis racing over to see it right now! THANKS PIPPI for sending it so fast! It reminds me of actually being there (and in some clips, I really was there!) again and gets me "Jones-ing" for the live, real stuff!

Thanks to the camera people, to ED, and to everyone who put this together, what a great Holiday gift to myself! I know I'll have to lend it to Dennis, unless there's a way to burn this on my computer?

Looking forward to tour dates and to seeing as many of you as possible, as soon as possible! Again, watching this DVD was a small slice of heaven for me, and a million thanks for producing it and getting it out! LOVED IT...

Two Thumbs Up..... With All Love,

    Dr. Roger

Hey, Roger - has Dennis seen it yet? What does he think?

You know, I was thinking, instead of trying to burn it (a pain without the right equipment and software), his own copy might just be the perfect gift for Christmas...and if you place your order now, it should arrive in time! Plus, it's one more sold for the guys. Call me if you need help with the PayPal thing - I'm about to place another order myself - I can take care of yours at the same time.

In case you couldn't tell, I am a techno-tard! I just saw Cy's introduction to the DVD. Somehow I missed it every time I watched the DVD. D'OH!

I share Cy's sentiments though it sounds much better coming from him.

    Just a heads-up...

Hitting the "PLAY ALL" button does NOT actually play all.

I'm not sure who's idea that was but to see the INTRODUCTION you have to actually select it with your remote control.

    Thanks Steve-

I did hit Play All. Maybe I'm not so technologically impaired after all.

Actually, that's not true! I figured out the frame by frame but still haven't seen those darn easter eggs! GRRRR!

    Taralyn919,
You won't actually see the easter eggs. At the end of the DVD, when the band appears push either the left right or up button on your remote and see what happens. Hopefully that will work!

DUH! I know you won't actually see easter eggs. I'm not that dumb!

I pushed and pushed the arrow buttons and saw zip, zero, nada, nothing.

    I'll keep trying.
