    New Toys

Did anyone get any new toys recently?

How about a little show and tell?

My wife picked me out a new bass guitar. It's a Yamaha BB414. I haven't played for over 16 years so I've got some catching up to do.

LOL! Steve I was thinking, after her pre vacation posts, that the new toy would require, ahem, batteries!

WAY Cool, Pippi.... Is there not a girl out there, who did not want a Mystery Date Game.....

    Steve... do you take requests?????

    No toys for me....
I am re- doing my bedroom and bathroom .....and I got new Bedding .. It is all soft and romantic ....in blues and whites.. cottage/ Shabby Chic style .... and my Bathroom is in a very soft green and white..It reminds me of walking on a white sand beach with the color of the waves... a Reach the Beach kind of theme.....

COOL toy, Steve! And I know how much Pip's been loving Mystery Date, nerds and all. The linens theme sounds refreshing, Jeanne! As for Preshie's toy, well, ahem! You go, girl!

Me, I'm an odd girl. Never wanted a Mystery Date game, or a tea set or a doll house. I always wanted new colors of pegs for my Lite Brite, or a better shortwave radio, or books about astronomy, or new 45s for my Close N Play record player. The folks got me a Barbie once, but I enjoyed pulling her head off too much (she was so BORing - all she did was change clothes!), so they sorta decided I wasn't the doll type.

Now that we're so far apart (I get violently ill every time I go to Indiana in December, so I stay in CA now), my family often sends cash or gift cards. Not many gifts to open these days. But I did get a much-loved toy this time:

    Cool new toy, Heimo.

Bash, why can't you get a Barbie AND new books? I was into both - but the books did take over eventually. I was into Barbie cuz' she had all of those cool pink clothes! I pierced her ears - cut her hair - and found her something slutty to wear. Then I went off to read a book . . . . or climb a tree. Always a Gemini.

I dunno, Pip! Just always wanted other toys. I did a very Scorpio thing to mine with the decapitations.
