    American Idol

This'll be the first time I've watched this show...however...
Kendall Phillips and Emily (my employee) are best buds.
The girl can sing (and dance).
Well, at least goofing off in the shop...LOL!

I love American Idol - Tuesday's in the Winter are a little slow at work - so we all watch American Idol. I have all of my regulars addicted to it - even the boss' wife. Everyone gets in on it - we critique their clothes - their choice of songs - the judge's decisions - etc. If you came and watched it with us Steve - you would learn to love it too. A couple of cold beers - a shot of Jose - and you'll start to enjoy yourself

    Hey Steve,
All I know is it airs primetime Tuesday nights.
To my eye, Kendall resembles Candace Cameron...blonde and peppy.

    Hey Pippi!
Let us know what you think of Kendall.
    Hoping she does well.
In the selection process, Simon gave her good words.

Now that sounds like a plan.

I only ever watch the seasin finale, and of course an R&B singer always takes the cake, so I am forever let down.
I am the winner in any event.

I got hooked watching Season 2 when Ruben Studdard won and Clay Aiken came in close 2nd. Season 3 was dissapointing because it seemed to be fixed, so I stopped watching. The early episodes can be good for a laugh, though.

Wow, Kendall was on at the very end!
All they showed was 2 seconds of her with the judges saying "Kendall, you're going to Hollywood" and then of her jumping around outside at the end. You couldn't tell she had in red and black extensions for the try-outs (her Rock-n-Roll look) in her blonde hair.
Emily says Kendall has withdrawn from school, last Friday was her last day...she's lining up a tutor for Hollywood. Very exciting!

I'm going to admit it, I'm hooked on American Idol. The show on Wednesday will be from my state- I wonder if I will recognize anyone?

We watched it at work - in surround sound - laughed my *** off. But, I missed a real look at Kendall - wasn't paying enough attention at the end. It is addicting - I didn't watch much of the first season but have gotten hooked over time. Yes, the earlier shows are a blast - and the later shows only good if they have someone you are rooting for. Once you lose your fav - then the show becomes less interesting. My favs have never made it to number one.
