Is this Adam in a Rupert Hine Video?

I was just watching the video for "The Set Up" by Rupert Hine, and one of the guys in the video looks like Adam Woods:

Is that him? Here's the YouTube link for the full video:

no... it is a young Benny Hill!!! (

always thought Adam (while chewing his gum like a madman) resembled Benny Hill!!!

Maybe Adam will slap Bald Gary on the head like Benny used to do on his TV show to that little old bald man! (just kidding!)

i believe you are correct on the Adam spotting in the R HINE video ...

Listening to that video of Rupert Hine's from 1981, is that Cy lending vocals to some of the lines in the chorus?

    Rupert: "One..."
Cy?: "set up leads to another"
    Rupert: "Two..."
Cy?: "set up to lie to each other"
    Rupert: "One..."
Cy?: "set up leads to another"
    Rupert: "Two..."
Cy?: "set up to lie...... to each other."

It might be easy to see how this bit of lyric was a starting platform for writing "One Thing Leads To Another". The line renderings are not entirely dissimilar and by 1981 Hine and The Fixx are in contact... that much is clear from Adam's appearance in the video.

And might I add.... that's one of the best videos I've ever seen. I believe Hine and Obstoj probably conceived and co-directed it. It's got so many interesting bits.. intriguing! And yet it's not overblown. It's like a trailer for a movie I'd like to go see. The spygame scenario was also reintroduced briefly in the "One Thing" video.

I am now definitely thinking "The Setup" inspired "One Thing Leads to Another" at least in part. Anyone care to weigh in on this?

I'm pretty sure that's all Rupert on vocals, but he and Cy do seem to have eerily similar vocal styles at times. I think that's why the Better Off Dead soundtrack works so well - they're almost interchangeable on 'With One Look'.
