    Rush hitting the road too

On the heels of the announcement that The Police are kicking off a world tour, Rush is also about to tour their upcoming album: link

Rush is another band The Fixx would be perfect to open up for! Rush did 2 albums under Rupert Hine as I recall. I would think they dig the Fixx's sound. I wonder who'll open for Rush.

Rush's last 3 tours have been "an evening with Rush" format....no opening act and Rush plays for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I would be suprised if that changed.

This is going to be a great concert year. My goal is to hit 20 shows between the Police, the Fixx and Rush.

    Just need the dates!!!.

Please, let there be some synths on this album.

I lost some interest in Rush, with the disappointing Vapor Trails. However, I'm always willing to give the elderly another chance
    From the point of ignition
    to the final drive
    the point of the journey
    is not to arrive
    anything can happen

Apparently there will be some synths and Mellotron on the new one, and Alex was quoted saying he "concsiously held back" on his guitar work on Vapor Trails, so we're hopefully going to hear more 'classic' Alex on this one.

The sample is too freaking short, too much of a tease!

I would be disappointed if that changed.
I looked at old scrapbooks and found the opening acts they had through the '80s
    '81- FM
    '83- Golden Earring
    '84- Gary Moore
    '86- Steve Morse
    '88- Tommy Shaw
    '90- Mr. Big
