I hear there was some serious groaning in Arizona that night...
You pass like the moon in silence
    In the warm flooded air
Looking back to those lost opportunities
    So often missed or ignored
A thousand times I start heading for the dawn
Only to turn around and face this rue once more
There 's something ahead of you

And now it's Minnesota fans' turn to groan, Jeanne.

Dropped a 26-7 contest to Carolina last night.

    All together now:

    Arrrrrggggghhhh.......

Yes Dee, that is Chan Gailey, he has an extensive coaching background in college as well as the NFL. He is the former head coach of the Cowboys, compiling a record of 18-14 in two seasons. He coached at Samford University, my alma mater, though I never got to meet him. Following that, he went to Georgia Tech, and has had several assistant coaching jobs as well. He is a quality person, and is well known for his abilities on the offensive side of the ball. Thus I would like to think he could help Buffalo with their ongoing QB woes. He faces a great challenge, but I'd love to see him get some wins against those AFC East opponents.

Bill Cowher is going to stay cozy in the broadcast booth until he gets a plum of an opportunity to come his way. I don't believe he wants a rebuilding task, as I see it he desires to take over an already-winning franchise----if and when that door opens. JMHO....
