You're so lucky, Vee! I need your super mojo powers!

Got my fingers crossed that they'll book some PacNW dates...or at least California...might be able to get down there for that, this time.

Does anyone LOOK at a MAP when they schedule these tour dates ?

OMG... connect the dots from one coast to another, i can see an occasional special event that doesnt fall into place, but FLA then NJ then VA.... and if they are trying to save $$$ they just spent it all in airfare! dangggg!

So close and yet so far.... come to Tampa please!!! Orlando is pretty close to me but is this one of those velvet sessions where tickets are a pain to come by? Jannus Landing would have been soooooooo nice. Oh well, we shall see what happens. Love to all Fixxtures.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the Busch Gardens shows? Is it just them or a bunch of groups? Do you have to pay park admission to get in to see the show? We'd like to go to both, but not if we have to pay $40 each both days when we most likely won't ride... any info would be greatly appreciated!

My understanding is that you have to pay admission to the park, and the shows are included in that. One fee, for everything. I've never seen a concert there at night, but most people go early and ride the rides, the park is pretty even if you don't ride rides. Parking is another separate charge too. Try to carpool if you can.

    Tickets

Just wanted to mention that if you belong to AAA it might be worth your while to check on discounted tickets through them. There are likely other discounts to be had if you do some searching on the interweb.

According to the Busch Gardens website, shows are indeed free and slated for 6pm. You can rent a lawn chair for $10, which you can reserve in advance (I don't believe you can bring in your own chair). I am not an expert on the park -- just visited their site.

We are seriously thinking about a 15 hr. road trip to Busch Gardens. We need a beach fix as well as a Fixx fix so this would be ideal. Vacation request is submitted at work and should be approved. Any suggestions for hotels near Busch Gardens or other things to do in Williamsburg? We will be hitting Virginia Beach sometime but we'll probably pick the best weather day for that. It'll be good to meet a whole new group of fixxtures on the east coast.

    Busch Gardens!!!

I live in the VA Beach area and will be at BOTH Busch Gardens shows!

If you are a VA resident you can buy a fun pass for $61.95. This gets you into the park (concerts included) all summer through September 6.

Parking is $13 per vehicle per day.

So it seems that if you're not a VA resident (which I'm not) you have to pay even bigger bucks to get into the VA shows? And you pay extra for parking??? Really? I'm not too happy that I have to dish out all this $$ when I don't really plan to do anything in the park but see the band.
    Anyone know of any discounts?

I called about passes for out of state residents. For $69.95, you have access to both parks BG & Water Country for 7 days. Probably does not include the cost of parking, but that is a great deal, considering my pass is $61.95 for only BG.

Go to the website- I think it's www.buschgardens.com and look for Discovery Tickets. Rep said it's $10 more if you purchase at the gate, so purchase online, and they will email you something to print & bring with you. 1800 343 7946 is the # I called for that info.

BTW for VA residents, the $61.95 pass does not include parking ($13). There is a pass that's good for the remainder of 2010 for $99, includes free parking & 10% off most park merch & food. Jon has that one & I'm able to use it w/o him to get the discounts in the park.

I don't know what I just said or why.
