    EXCITED! However...

I'm a bit surprised that Everyone Believes In Something and Life Goes On are not on Beautiful Friction. I wonder if those songs were recorded during the BF sessions, did they not work out in the studio or are they simply tired of those songs all together?

    Just wondering.

P.S. Anyone Else is pumping. Sounds great. It almost makes us forget it's been 10yrs since Want That Life...almost!

    Hi there,
We did try 'Everyone Believes', but found it wasn't happening with the rest of the body of work we were working. In fact, the band recorded a lot of material, of which didn't make the final album cut. Maybe some of it will surface in the future. Glad you're enjoying Anyone Else!
    Cheers,
    Nick.

Thanks Nick. I suspected that that song in particular just not might fit the overall vibe of the album. I believe I speak on behalf of every Fixx fan that we hope that many, if not all, of those extra tracks get released one way or another. ;~)

Well, the good news is. There are a couple of tracks on Cy's new solo album, The Horse's Mouth. Tracks that Cy brought to the Fixx table as possibles, that didn't work out. Still great songs, but just didn't fit with the body of work that makes up Beautiful Friction. So you'll be able to some of them for sure! Lots to look forward to.
    Cheers,
    Nick. x

I hope that Everyone Believes In Something and Life Goes On show up in a studio version at some point...

I appreciate the nod from the band on Track #8.

    But I believe it's mis-spelled....

I don't "go through channels." I dig my own....
