    Nice!
Sounds like we have us a hard core Fixx album in the wings.

    Wow, this is too cool!

Absolutely LOVING tracks 1/2/5/9/10/11 and the others aren't too shabby either.

Great mix of old and new - Rupert is ALL OVER this album! Woohoo!

Can't wait to get the CD cranked up in the car - sounds like a real driving record.

    Happy days!

Sometimes these little snippets help you. Sometimes they don't.

Sometimes you're the bug. Sometimes you're the windshield.
Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't.
    But I digress....

Cy definitely made good on his promise to fill this CD with "hair-raisers." I hear a nice mix of mellow and hard-hitting tunes. Yes Robert M, Roop is more prominent on this release. Thus it ramps up the energy. Energetic, but smooth. The Fixx that we know and love.

Of the 11 tracks, "Girl With No Ceiling" sounds best to my ears. Hence I'm with Deja and Steve P.

We know that "Anyone Else" is the first single, but I see "Take A Risk" appealing to today's younger audience. Which can only help. There's a lot in those 30 seconds that really clicks. Eh?

JWO really whangs that majestic axe on Track #8, "Shoeman." Looking forward to the song in its entirety.

"Follow That Cab" really pulse-pounding. Nice.

"Beautiful Friction" gives me a whiff of "Yesterday, Today" from the Ink album. Thoughtful, pensive, ethereal.

Great riff on "What God?" Captivating.

Did you guys notice that the CD sells for $9.49 on Amazon? I'll surely make the purchase there if it beats the record store, which it just might.

    Oh, was I too long-winded?

Sometimes you feel like a nut....

Just listened to the "sound bites" last night... I can't wait to hear the rest of this Cd...Like what I have heard so far.
You pass like the moon in silence
    In the warm flooded air
Looking back to those lost opportunities
    So often missed or ignored
A thousand times I start heading for the dawn
Only to turn around and face this rue once more
There 's something ahead of you

    Wow! That's good stuff.

Now we know the name of the song JWO was playing in that studio video clip way back in 2009. Follow That Cab. It's my early favorite.

Running order has changed a couple of times on amazon (I listen to the samples every night lol) - is this random, anyone know?

Anyway, the album is now up for pre-order on the UK site:

For those that have Best Buy stores in your area, they always make albums $9.99 or less (Typically $7.99) on an album's first week of release. I'll be there.
