    And... we're back...

    Whew...

Sorry that took so long! All the customized formatting was lost, so I'll be updating logos and colors in the coming days.

Please have a look around, let me know if you see any problems with threads, posts, links, etc.

There are a bunch of new features - have a look and play around a bit.

I'm going to go take a nap. ;-)

Thanks for getting the site back up.

Glad to see you got the site up and running. Just in time for posts about the tour and release
Going to take an adjustment period to get used to this.
I did want to note that when I checked over the forum leaders section, some sort of superimposing is going on with the fonts. So I suppose a small glitch but not bad considering how much effort had to go into this.
Thank you Jeff for your work so that us fans can enjoy each other and The Fixx of course
See some of you next week!

Good catch - yep, I'm seeing it to. I've added it to me "to fixx" list.

Actually people chipped in several years ago to help out - and that "fund drive" paid for the forum license. I just did an upgrade this time, so no worries about money.

BTW, I'm going to be fiddling about with colors - please no-one freak out just yet - what you see now isn't permanent. And we'll likely have a vote on what people like best for the defaults. If you don't like whatever you're seeing right now, you can click on the drop-down box at the bottom left of the page and choose the VBulletin 4 default. It's kinda boring, but it's easy to read.

Alrighty, I've fixed the size of the avatars in the What's New tab, and also brought back the smilies that had gone AWOL.

Looks great, Jeff, I'm glad this forum finally got a makeover. I'm really happy the band has gone back to the 'classic' logo, too. Judging from the album art and 30-second samples, it's very fitting to recapture their past this way. I think the new album is going to grab some new fans and do very well, especially if we help spread the word. Cheers on the new board.

The site does look great. Thanks for your efforts Jeff.

Could someone please help me out? When I load this site on my mobile, it displays a blank screen. What is the "mobile feature"?

I'm not sure what's up: it seems to load correctly for some, and not for others. What's supposed to happen is that the for detects that you're on a phone and automatically uses the Mobile Style (If you're curious, you can see what that looks like on your desktop/laptop by changing the style at the bottom left corner dropdown-box).

What kind of phone are you using? It's working for me on an Android Google Nexus.

Ok, I've just reloaded the mobile style sheet. Dan - Can you try again and see if it's there now? If not, can you try loading http://www.thefixx.net/mobile.php and see if there's any difference?

p.s. can someone with an iPhone try and see how it looks?
