    Add Profanity Filter?

Jeff: Do we have the software to make this happen?

Anything that would be bleeped on TV.
Anything a 5-year old would be rightfully punished for saying.
All of George Carlin's seven forbidden words.

    Abbreviations included.

I'll be waiting for your input/replies....

We do, although I'm hesitant to censor things across the board for everyone. One option is to allow it on a per user basis - that way those who care can use the filter, those who don't can skip it. I've found a plugin - I'm reading up on how to install it.

So, turned out that it was rather easy to add.

There's now an option under Settings->General Settings, scroll to the bottom, where you can turn "Disable word censorship" on and off.

As a test to make sure it's working for you, here are three of George Carlin's Seven Words You Can't Say On TV:

    Shit
    Piss
    Tits

    It works!! Beautifully.

    You're a genius, Jeff.
If you're ever in my area, I'll take you to a barbecue joint.
    My treat....

    Update

    Some expletives are slipping through.

A few chinks in the armor, evidently.
