Thanks Dave! Now we just need you to post some of your favs

Here's a fun interview with Jamie and Adam from 1989
"With The Fixx just having released their new album ‘Beautiful Friction,’ which I just highlighted in a previous post, I thought it appropriate to get the first of my archive interviews up on Marshall of Rock. I had the opportunity to chat with Jamie West-Oram and Adam Woods of the band as they made a stop in San Luis Obispo, CA. for a concert at Mott Gym on the Cal Poly University campus. Listen to the 20 minute interview from March 4, 1989 below. I have a multitude of classic interviews to post, so look out for them!

The band was on tour supporting their ‘Calm Animals’ album. The San Luis Obispo tour date was the last in the states before the band headed over to Europe for more touring. West-Oram and Woods touch on subjects ranging from the band’s popularity in the U.S. vs. Europe, MTV’s help in breaking the band, how they came together, the making of and story behind their latest album, musical trends, influences, what they were listening to muscially at the time and more.

Interesting guys and an interesting interview."

[QUOTE=Beached Male;77106]Interesting take on Fatal Shore over YouTube, based on an animation from a video game.

I totally want to do something like this for a WoW video.

Can you tell I'm a Fixx fan AND a nerd. Yes. Nerd.

pretty sure that was from Rick Dee's Into the Night- i just transferred the songs they showed/aired that night SoFall and NOH2Cry and interview w Cy and AWoods.... OTLTA musta been another song performed there in the studio, but not shown on TV...

    FIXX videos

I've stumbled across the video Red Skies on Vimeo. I couldn't download it so you'll just have to look it up on Vimeo. It's their Saturday Night Live performance in 1984. Jamie Lee Curtis was the guest star that night.
