    If I'm not mistaken, i believe Rediscover was released as the b-side to Secret Separation 12" (vinyl) only? it wasn't on the b-side of the 45.

    I made a 'Venture Out Into The B-side' collection with the following tracks (some being more rare than actually an official "b-side")

    Modern World
    All About You
    Do What You Can
    Sweet Pandemonium
    These Boots Are Made For Walking
    Sinking Island
    Digging Up The Rock
    With One Look
    A Letter To Both Sides
    Ships Are Safe In Harbour
    Elected
    Rediscover
    Going Overboard
    Venture Out
    Pushing Myself
    Tatawayowayo

    Where?

    Hi,

    Where can these songs be found?

    everyone believes in something
    L I G H T H O U S E
    life goes on
    mayfly (calypso feel-HL's version way better than elem cd version!)
    remember me when im gone

    Also is there any info on Wasted that was discussed in other threads? Its on itunes but not amazon.

    Also, are there other cassette-only songs out there that anyone knows about?

    Talking about
    * everyone believes
    * remember me
    * Live goes on

    Those three tracks have been in the setlist and played live around 2005 to 2007/08. Can't tell exactly. Luckely the Band sold the "disclive-Cds" right after the show at this time. Later they produced and sold their on so called FIXX-Stick. (Ira did a brilliant job on those, because i think they sounded better then the disclive recordings). Kind of official Bootlegs with quite a good soundquality. I guess they will be hard to find now, do not see often copies of them on ebay.

    Question to Steve P.: Brother, if you/we would be able to bring your side back to work would it be legal and allowed to load a disclive-version of those songs up? Or from a Fixx-Stick?

    Cheers from germany, Heimo

    LIGHTHOUSE

    Maybe "Spaceroad" can tell us something about this song, that the Fixxtures love so much but has never been released...

    ahhhh those were the two i was trying to think of Heimo-

    I like how they road test songs before they even get to a studio so they are comfortable with them (and use less studio time to record if you already know what's getting laid down beforehand)...

    I don't know about a "calypso" version but there's a cool version of Mayfly on Cy's solo CD of the same name.

    Remember Me When I'm Gone is on The Returning Sun - all Cy's albums are well worth getting imho.

    OH MY - im sorry - i was referring to GOING WITHOUT not mayfly- sorry- see what happens when i start putting lists together!!! sorry again...

    It is on the happy landings EP- the beat is more organic/flowing and pacing, where the album version is more rigid and staccato/tight...

    just personal prefs-
