Calling all Chicago & Midwest Fixx fans

Come join The Hankster (aka) Izzo in Milwaulkee on aug 23, 2012 at Skank Hall . The Fixx are playing that night. Yes you could go to skokie on aug 25 but you have to deal with hot beer, porta pottys, shitty sound mosquito bites and a bunch of drunks who dont even know who the Hell are The Fixx

Back to Milwaulkee a great intimate venue, the best acoustics in the midwest, ICE COLD BEER and the Hankster. Say hey and I'll buy you a beer.Who's in?

Don't take my word for it, see for yourself.

You got it. When it gets closer to show time, I will confirm everything. Still working on getting the day off from work.

Couple of Milwaukeeans here. Got our tickets in the mail last week. Agree with the comments on the venue (love the mis spelling or was it a Freudian slip?) great sound, sight lines and c'mon, this is Milwaukee, of course the beer is cold. If anyone wants to pregame before the show, let us know. We can offer suggestions for you or meet up. Believe it or not, our little town has a lot to offer.

Milwaukee is the Capital of Beer!
I've been Summer Fest saw The Who Play Quadrophenia (4th row)
Been to the Riverside Theatre to see Robby Krieger/ Ray Manzarek
Where else can you get a PBR tall boy in a can at a concert venue?
Love the Hiawatha express gets you into Milwaukee in 1 1/2 hours. (no drinking & driving for me)

When my itinerary is confirmed, I can make plans

PS I hate hwy 43 I always miss the exit and wind up in the wrong side of town.

I was just gonna post something similar to this thread. I'm from Springfield, IL and was planning on a Milwaukee, Skokie road trip but, then, the STL date was posted and I can't miss out on hanging with my St. Louie buds so now, it's STL, Spfld.(home), Milwaukee, day in between, then Skokie. I was wondering if was going to be worth the drive, hotel, etc...to make all 3 shows but, anytime there's a Fixxture get together, I know there's gonna be a good time. And now a free beer to boot! Looks like Milwaukee might just be back in the mix.

Still no dates for Ohio, or Indiana, or Michigan, or Kentucky, or anything near me. A few years back I had to fly to Vicksburg, MS just to see the band.

I was there too. That MS experience will go down in history as strangest Fixx show EVER! Didn't we see each other in Indy when they opened for Todd Rundgren too? I'm trying to make STL, Milwaukee, and Skokie,IL. Still hoping for Indy again - I love Indy! Hope to meet up again sometime.

    Henry & Gee-Bee

Seattle area is home for us now. It's so good to hear from you two!
We were at the Aug 6 show--about to put up pics and a short review of the gig here on the forum.
We're interested to hear what you all think of the sound, as Scott's not doing this tour--they've a new young guy mixing.
